Hello my lovelies! As promised, I have Rebekah Ganiere here today and she's be kind enough to answer a few questions. Okay, a lot of questions, but her answers are so great, I couldn't skip any!

If you missed Tuesday's post, click here to read it.

And, because Rebekah is so cool, she's having a giveaway! She has five ebook copies of the first book in her Farielle Series, Red The Were Hunter! Click here to be taken to the rafflecopter.

So Rebekah ~

When you write, do you like music or silence? Music, always music! Silence scares me. It means my kids are up to something 🙂

What’s your ideal writing space? I love writing on my bed, it is squishy and comfy.

Cowboy hat, baseball cap, or tiara? Never a baseball cap and I'm thinking a tiara would look funny with my horns sticking out, so I guess I'm going with a Cowboy hat.

What are you reading right now? I have two great books I'm reading from my Crit Partners 🙂

What’s your opinion of dragons? I love dragons! I have one. His name is Samael Havok Lord of Chaos. My daughters have dragons as well.

Beer, wine, or whiskey? I don't drink so I'll go with a virgin Pina Colada. Or a Shirley Temple.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not writing? Relax. LOL! Between homeschooling, running my daughter to dance, my other kids to auditions, a relaxing moment is very hard to come by for me. I also like to sew and watch movies.

What’s your favorite word? Petuage. 🙂

Least favorite word? I can't even say it! It is so ugly! But I will say sometimes a woman is referred to one and it starts with a C

Favorite curse word? I don't curse, but in my books I use Dammit a lot.

What made you want to write paranormal? Would you ever write in another genre? I LOVE paranormal and fantasy. I've played D&D since I was young and I've always loved Vampires. So it was the one thing I wanted to write about.

What’s your favorite part of this writing journey? The feeling of finishing and seeing my books out there and people liking them.

Who is your favorite character to write? I love my heroes. They are my favorites. Big Hunky Alpha Males 🙂

Least favorite? I don't like writing bitchy female characters who are mean or self absorbed. They aren't the kind of people I associate with and I just want to stab them all with their high heeled shoes or strangle them with their mini skirts 🙂

Do you like writing heroes or villains more? Oooohhh. That's hard. I usually LOVE the villains in movies. Loki…cough..cough… But I love my heroes more. Unless it is a villain who thinks he's a hero, those are a lot of fun.

What’s something your readers might find surprising about you? Uhm… I'm Mormon.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? Hmmm… I think if I could teleport that would be cool. Or maybe influence, but I have a feeling I would misuse that power. LOL!

What’s the geekiest thing about you? Oh man! What isn't geeky about me? Comic Con is heaven to me and my ultimate vacation. I wear an R2D2 backpack. My ringtone is Darth Vader's Imperial March. My alarm clock is a Tardis and my screensaver and text ringtone is my favorite superhero Hulk. I know just about everything about RPG's because I've played them all. And I read comic books 🙂 So, I don't know, which one is the geekiest.

See what I mean? She's awesome! And I totally want that TARDIS alarm clock. It would go well with my TARDIS tea pot.

As promised, here's another excerpt from Rebekah's book, Snow the Vampire Slayer.

SnowBlueGold7

Snow wriggled underneath him trying to get free. Why was she always on the ground? His strong body pressed into hers, heating her blood and quickening her heartbeat.
“Stop moving,” he said. “You’re making this hard for me to remain calm.”
“Tell me what you need!” she demanded.
“I need to drink your blood,” he yelled.
Snow stopped struggling. Her breath caught and her gaze locked on his as terror ran through her. Memories of Sonya’s mouth on her neck, feeling the life drain out of her. The pain, the helplessness. All of it flooded in.
Sage lowered his head with a heavy, defeated breath. “It’s the only way.” He rolled off her and crouched on the floor by a curio.
His face darkened and his fangs gleamed in the candlelight. For the first time she saw him clearly for what he was. Sage was kind, and gentle, and strong. But he was also a vampire. He was like Sonya, and the ones her brothers killed. He was a killer, albeit that he no longer fed from humans, he had once.
“How many humans have you killed?” she whispered.
Sage’s eyes turned sad and pleaded with her not to ask.
“How many?”
“Many.” He hung his head between his knees. “I was spoiled and indulgent. I was given whatever I wanted. I thought for no one but myself.”
Snow sat up, her body aching from the stone floor. “A hundred?”
He didn’t look up.
“A thousand? Two?” she asked in an almost inaudible voice
He met her gaze, his lips drew into a tight grim line.
Her body shook. She no longer wanted to know. “How long has it been since you’ve drunk from a human?”
“Over fifty years.”
Hope sprung within her. “So you’re good now.”
“No.” He shook his head. “I’m not. I’m a monster and always will be. No matter how many people I don’t kill, it doesn’t matter. The blood of the ones I have killed, still haunts me.”
Snow crawled toward him, but he shied away.
“You should go. Leave this place. Return to your brothers and your home. Find a royal human male. Marry him and have many chubby children. Leave the fate of those in Tanah Darah to me.”
“Is that really what you want?” She moved closer still. “Do you really want me to go?”
“There is no hope for us, Snow. No life that we can live in peace. You saw what happened with Sonya. If you stayed here, I would have to fight off all the friends I have left, just to keep you safe.”
Snow’s heart crumbled at his words. She knew he was right. The game they’d been playing was never to last. She couldn’t leave her brothers, and he would never stop trying to regain his kingdom. But it didn’t matter. Nothing else mattered. Right now, all she could do was heal him.
